Wade and Butcher 3 7/8" closed. Clip, Hawkbill, Pruning shears, Budding tweezers. Shears snap open when small at end is depressed. They have a British "Rd. No.715810." Nice old bone handles, Good condition. J.O'.

Ripster: Don't know how old it is.. Check the "Rd. Number" 715810. I think that's like our patent numbers. Might find a date there. I'll try too. Let you know. J.O'.

I went to "British Patent Numbers" and found the number that's stamped on one of the pruner arms. It says "Rd. No." 715810
Anybody want to try another search. Let us know.. Sure appears to be older than 1954. But you know the Brits. Compare a '54 Ford or Chevy to a Brit car of the same year. The Brit will look like a late 30's or 40's model. J.O'.

That is a gem, and does look older than 54? But like you said about the Brits, either way great old piece of cutlery . Thanks for sharing that one with us.
