Back to the "Old Hawkbills" thread
You guys hit my wheel house. Found the "Old Hawkbills" thread from April. They are my favorite pattern. I've been buying them since I was a youngster.
Used to be cheap, not any more. Here are some of mine. They have to ride the top of some other displays because they take up so much space. My favorite style is the "Farmer's Jack" in the last picture. Also the old KENT straight one is jigged wood. J.O'.

Fantastic collection Ridgegrass! Here is my best old Hawk. A Case tested with killer handles. She's been used and abused, but has held up well..

Those old XX bones are great. I have a couple and they really have character. Huge blades too. Check out a beautiful old Robeson Pruner of mine in the Robeson forum. It's one of my favorites. Talk about bones!! J.O'.
