little damascus cutter

Post by hellize »

Hello!

Just finished this little knife. It's total length is 19.5 cm / 7.5 inch, with a 9 cm / 3.5 inch long blade.
The blade is made of damascus steel with around 100 layers. The handle is made of antler and wenge .
It also has a sheath made of thick leather sheath.

Awesome ,thanks for posting ,is the mark on the blade representative of a whitetail hoof print ? And that handle is nice wood , very impressive. Never heard of Wenge? What is that if u don’t mind ,thanks .

Glad you like it.
It is a moose hoof print. But some people see a kite shield with a cross in it.
Wenge is an exotic wood, quite hard, so it is often used for hardwood flooring

That is a NICE little knife!
Those are the size knives I have always liked best. They are great as a patch knife and can clean a deer like nobody's business.

BEAUTIFUL!!!
