Ridgegrass, the Muskrat is also one of my favorite patterns! I certainly don't have as many to show as you but it is a very practical knife in my experience. Why I ever started using one, I don't recall however it is my go to knife when doing delicate work when preparing venison both for freezing and prior to cooking. I have a 77OT that stays in the kitchen window sill, on stand by if you will, to remove tiny pieces of silver skin that are noticed from time to time. She not much to look at, faded Delrin and spotted worn blades but she does the job!

I have several in my pile, in fact just got one out of the bay a day or so ago for $13.25 including shipping, full blades but with surface rust above the frame line, could still see the Muskrat etch before I started cleaning it up the heavy rust.

Just a bit of difference one well used and one just allowed to sit and rust.

You bet. I picked one up yesterday at a "ladies" type antique/junk store for $6 !, a bone handled old Kutmaster. They're the best places to look because the ladies don't care about them and I find them glad to get rid of them. Thanks for the compliments.
