Ever heard of CRUSADER ?

This is a 3-3/8", ebony handled boy's knife with iron liners. Simple stamp: CRUSADER. No country of origin. Looks German to me. No info in Levine or Price. Nice shape, very tight. Looks pretty old? Anybody heard of the brand? Thanks, J.O'.

Did Belknap ever import from Germany ? They might have in the early days.

According to Levine, they did. Since they were around since 1840 that could explain the lack of nationality in the tang stamp. Do you think it has a German look? I do. I have a very similar LENOX from Germany .I'd rather it was American made but, it is what it is. Thanks. J.O'.

Old Cutler said Ritchie and Stewart have the CRUSADER mark in 1939-40. ?????
