PIC Branded Solingen Folder Stag

Post by scagel »

Could a collogue help me out with the name of this pattern? 'Levine's' book is around here; someplace and I recall seeing a pic of one there. 'PIC' Precision Import Co. started out after WWII by an Italian immigrant, Gaetano Torelli, who imported all kinds of items, including knives, from some very famous makers, Hubertus, Puma, Anton Wingen and Henckels, just to name a few. Thanks and a Merry Christmas to you all.

Hey Craig! My pc won't expand the pics, ::facepalm:: but from what I can see it appears to be a "Pig Sticker"! And a very Merry Christmas to you as well! 8)

I can't get the pictures to expand clearly either, but I agree with Mark. Some call it a folding bowie too. Those usually sell pretty well, unless they're made by Paki-Stan.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

s-l64.jpg "(1.09 KiB)" is the minimum info for file, so no image is their. I read somewhere that PIC knives are pronounced "peak." others say huh!
