Marbles I.D.
Hey all.
I found this knife in my great grandfather's basement. Washed it off and cleaned it up a bit.
No telling why he had it as he was not a hunter but he could have received it from another family member or from a friend.
Looking for a model and possible range of manufacture dates.
5" blade.
Thanks for any advice.

Hi, your knife model name is "Ideal" and they were available in 4&1/2, 5,6,7, and 8 inch blades. They also were available with leather handles with aluminum pommel like yours and stag handles with aluminum or stag pommel, and leather handles with a stag pommel. I believe your knife was made in the 1930s, can't narrow it down much more.
