I can not forget,

All the American heroes in our nation's history
who did not come home as I did.
The legacy of what they provided
all Americans through their courage
devotion, and ultimate sacrifice
must be preserved and honored daily.
For if we are no longer the home of the brave,
then we will no longer be the land of the free.
God's richest blessings on our nation and those who serve
and sacrifice for the cause of freedom for all mankind.

Thank you Jerry for posting that. It brought to mind one of my first duties I had to perform as duty driver when I first checked into my duty station at NATC Patuxent River Maryland.One of the Marines that had been stationed there and whose parents still resided there had been killed in Vietnam and he was being interred at Arlington National Cemetery.
My duty was to chauffeur the parents to Arlington for the ceremony. That was one of the most sobering moments of my life driving through the gates to the grave site.Somehow I made it through the ceremony and got them back to the base in one piece. That video reminded me a lot of that day.
To those who have never been to Arlington,I would strongly urge you to go if for no other reason than to remind yourself of what this nation is all about.God bless America and all she stands for.
