Help with a Napanoch
I recently acquired a lot of 8 knives on eBay. In the group was a Napanoch Scout. I know the history of Napanoch but I have never owned one before. I'm a Robeson guy! Anyway, I know the Napaonch brand is heavily faked and reproduced. I was hoping someone could look at the attached photos and let me know conclusively if the knive is the real deal or not. Of course, as always any assistance is greatly appreciated. Also, I always have the same question. Does anyone have a Robeson Permalube they can part with? I will pay good money!

Thanks Harold! I was pretty sure this was not an original. Can you elaborate a litte more about the punch and why that is not correct to the original? Any chance someone may know who made this knife? Assistance is greatly appreciated!

Re: Help with a Napanoch
Napanoch has a fluted punch. If you would search Napanoch punch on AAPK, you should see pictures. This has been talked about.

Re: Help with a Napanoch
Thanks a lot Harold! I really appreciate you taking the time to give me the assistance. I did look up the old Napanock and fluted punch threads on AAPK. The punch makes it clear as day! There is some great information. I would love to own an original Napanock because the quality is so good but I can't tell the difference from an original and a reproduction! They are a lot like the Winchesters. Just too many fakes and reproductions. It appears most of the sellers on eBay really have no idea what they are selling. I will clean up my knife and sell it as a reproduction. I've noticed since Covid the really exceptional and high end knives have almost disappeared on eBay. When I do see one now it's usually a fake or reproduction. I got mine in a lot so it was not very expensive. Anyway, sorry to run on like this. Thank you so much!
