Case Limited Vault Release for 2021

What do you all think? I am disappointed in the scale selections. Why not a wood or stag?

I'd like to get one.
I'm a fan of the Amber bone, so I'm happy it's offered.

Just curious, has Case ever offered a pattern with a buyer's option to choose the handle material/color?
Take care and God bless,

Give them time. The pattern will be produced at least a year. If it holds true to prior years/releases they will be made in just about every combination of handle covers, blade materials and configurations. What you’re seeing is just the first wave.

That Amber bone and CV is just about the ideal combo! I’m nit much on a lot of new bone colors, but that Amber bone just takes the cake imo. Add CV to that and I’m in. I foresee one in my future.

I think that is a pretty good selection so far... But we all have differing thoughts on what we like

Have i got this right, Case's vault release is a new release each year of an old pattern of their choosing, something that has not been released for a while. :?

That's pretty much it.

Here’s a blue bone SS wharncliff from a couple years ago. Good knives.

Wife had told me to pick out a knife for my birthday (Feb.)
but these won't be released until March ....
and knowing my luck the blades and bone combo I would want won't be available right away .

tis a conundrum

I like the full size -49 Copperhead. ::tu:: But that's all we get? ::shrug:: I think there were around 3 last year, including that small Pocket Hunter.

They nearly always re-introduce 3 or 4 older patterns every year. Not sure but maybe only one of them is the official “Vault Release” pattern. They usually announce several of these and some new designs every year at SHOT Show, which was cancelled this year. I’m guessing they will announce more during the year. ::shrug::

Also suspect some product design and development including re-release stuff was delayed when Case was shut down several weeks for the China virus by order of the PA Governor. Even after the factory resumed production many “non-essential” employees, like new product development, remained furloughed.
