PINE KNOT/JAS.W.PRICE

Had this for some time. Finally figured out the tang stamp. "PINE KNOT" in a half circle and some kind of graphic/logo below. Single spring pin. no scale pins but scales fit very well, no shrinkage. Can't tell how the shield is attached. Price and Levine only say Louisville, KY, Belknap Hardware, 1930''s Levine gives it a "HIGH" rating. This one has an odd construction. Outer liners are like trays with the scales and bolsters "inlaid". (my description). See pics. Does anyone here have one like it or know any more about the company? Like to see pics. Thanks, J.O'.

This type of inlaid handle was used by Robeson and they did make some Pine Knot knives.
