Show Us Your Camillus Knives!

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

That’s a dandy of a piece of Cutlery there Sir. And the Spiral punch, helps date it as was mentioning in previous post. Very nice short line 68. ::tu:: ::tu::
Thanks! As always, I am grateful for the other members' input :D

Nice knife! ::tu::
The similar knife was in a package that did not come to me in 2020 . There were six knives, totaling over $400. Very sad ::teary_eyes:: .

Not my knife , sold on ebay today for $426.00 ,twice the price I thought it would go for. Nice knife ,the shield looks strange sitting on top of the bone rather than inlayed in it.

Received this one today. A Camillus Long Line tang stamp Pattern 50 Barlow with Spear Point main blade and pen secondary. It did have rust on areas of the blades, and bolsters. It has brown saw cut pattern delrin handles. After the usual warm mineral oil bath & cleaning, now both blades have great snap,and have no looseness or wobble. Originally the large spear point blade had week snap, and the secondary pen blade was stiff to move. Now all good. I will post some before and after photos. Now a great addition to my Barlow Box.

Thanks JP. Yeah, I actually like the Barlow Pattern, more so the better built ones. Although I do have a couple of the shell handle makers, I am not that Crazy about them.

This man sells antiques, not just knives. I think he is not an expert in the knife field and was confused by the texture of the handle ::shrug:: .
I am more interested in the buyer of this knife, and if he reads this forum, then please show us more detailed photos :wink: .

::tu:: ::tu:: Nice!! I've got one I've had for years. Like you said, they are good EDC and workers. I've had to reshape the point a couple of times, but it was a work knife for me.

This is the latest addition to my CAMILLUS collection. It's a CAMILLUS 80 (my 2nd "80"), 3 blade, swelled center, milled liners, 3 5/8" closed, "whittler" pocket knife. It has a small crack in the handle, at the top pin. I am not concerned. It received a very minor cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Yesterday, this pocket knife became the latest addition to my "general" CAMILLUS collection. It's a CAMILLUS 33, 2 blade, easy open, short line pocket knife. It didn't require any cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.
