Someone once ask me what tattoos I had from my time in the Navy. I responded son, “I’ve sailed 5 of the 7 seas, been on 4 continents, been to 35 of the American states, 23 countries, 5 county fairs and 1 goat roping and there is not a tattoo on this body, only scars.”
Those things simply escape my understanding. ::shrug::

When I turned 50, I did three things. I quit smoking (finally successfully). I got my ear pierced (didn't make me look "cool" at all and it felt stupid so I quit wearing it) and I got a tattoo. The tattoo is a pair of lips on the left cheek of my butt. I tell people that I got it so when I die, they can bury me upside down and the world can kiss my --s.

A couple of years ago, I got this one on my left forearm.

John, what's the significance of the one on the back of your right hand?

You forgot to include the two Hog Killin's David.

I've got a little ink on my arms. Like many, some tats were done when they were young and have now become memories of a time past. Others use them to commemorate an event or someone special in their life. But I've always adhered to something I heard from an old Sargent of mine. Never get tatsof girlfriends, or new wives. The Ta-too may last longer than them.

Cool ink and that's a sign of a serious commitment. I doubt my impression of Case would ever change either. ::tu::

Your right Smitty. ::tu:: My youngest son got some on his left arm when he was in his 20's and now he is paying for the laser process to have them removed. He said sometimes that hurts much worse than when he had the tattoos put on.
