My first Bower
Since I started buying knives in the 70s, I don't remember running across any of these. This thing is kinda awesome and has the factory edge.

Great looking Stockman!
I have a Folding Hunter and a Barlow at home, they are well made.

This knife was listed as a Boker, and all the pictures were of the side opposite the shield. After I emailed them and got pics of the rest of the knife I was able to get it bought for less than 50.00 shipped...

Re: My first Bower
Bower sold some nice knives.
They sold large and standard Barlows with a stamped bolster and I think they had a folding hunter similar to Remington Bullet knives.
Don’t know if they made their own knives, but I suspect they were contacted to somebody.
Congratulations.

It is my understanding that Bower was an import company that did not make knives but rather distributed them.My only Bower is a large hunting knife.RobesonsRme.com wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 11:45 pm Bower sold some nice knives.

Re: My first Bower
I can't imagine any hate flowing over that knife.
The reverse blade etch reminds me of Bokers and a couple Bulldogs I have. (Now the hate will flow.) And they were all manufactured - or stamped anyway - Solingen. I like mine, and see no reason not to like yours.
