Having lived in Titusville, PA during the 1980s got to visit the old Queen Cutlery factory and have owned several fixed and folder models over the years.
Not too long ago I was disappointed to hear they had closed, apparently for good.
Received a new catalog today to see both Queen and Queen City folders offered at a fraction of the former cost. Admit I only did a real quick search to find nothing regarding new production under old trade names in what I guess is an overseas facility?
What's the story?

Queen, Queen City, and related trademarks are now owned by Smokey Mountain Knife Works. A brief trial run of knives using those trademarks was made for them by Bear & Sons. The general reviews here were not good. The next batch of knives using those trademarks came from China.
