Not necessarily. Not every member of the German Army were members of the Nationalist Socialist Party. That was a political group, not an army unit.
That’s like saying that every service-member that died in Vietnam is a dead Republican or dead Democrat.
Some were probably one or the other, but the vast majority were probably independents or not politically active at all.
Not nit picking. Just pointing out facts.
