"X" marks the spot............

Post by knife7knut »

This one will be a very short post as I only have four knives that start with an X and one of them has a Camillus tang stamp but is etched "Xcelite".The two other electrician's knives have the tang stamped Xcelite. The only other knife is made by X-Act-O and looks like a fountain pen.

I have seen countless Camillus electricians knives that are etched Xcelite K-22, and Colonial Knife Co. currently makes the K-22. But, that is the first I have seen with an Xcelite tang stamp.

That craft knife that looks like a pen is beyond cool.

How about the rejects with an X over the tang stamp. Surely you must have one of those, Ray!

I'm starting to think that there is no knife Ray doesn't have an example of!

Don't have any rejects with the stamp X'd out but have several with the stamp ground off. Maybe I'll do a post of those.
