Good looking EO's JP.Ripster wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 11:12 pm Received this Black handled 33 Easy open yesterday from another EBay purchase. Bought it to give the old 4 line bone EO some shelf time, have carried it most of the winter, but when I dropped it on the floor in the shop, thought it’s time to put it away. The new recruit is tight, nice half stops, and a long pull which is a plus in my books. And blades have plenty of years left .
Awesome find JP. Especially with the box, papers and sharpening steel. Congrats.Ripster wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 10:41 pm Received this 179 Stainless Sword brand today! The knife and stone are in unused condition. The knife had dried up lube and a coating on the blades ,cleaned it up and put a little good oil on the joints . The Box is a little worn on the ends but the clear cover isn’t cracked and paperwork is good .
Take care out there![]()
Nice one. I love the 717 and carry one often. I have one for carry and one for my stash as well. My YJs keep multiplying...Dan In MI wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 5:49 am Here are the only two Camillus knives I have at present time. Both are Trappers, pattern 717Y, made within 20 years of the bankruptcy. The one on the top is for the cabinet, and the one on the bottom has been carried. I will add more Camillus knives to my collection sooner or later.
Great collection. What vintages are covered there?
A beauty indeed. Very nice looking 60, and the first one i've ever seen with the file work done to the springs. A very nice addition.New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 6:01 pm Just recently I acquired this beauty. It's a CAMILLUS 60, 3 blade, 3 1/8" closed, milled liners, "split spring" whittler pocket knife. It didn't need any real cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.
