Kamp King smaller size.
I have been mysteriously running into Imperial Kamp King camp/scout style vintage knives everywhere lately. They’ve been basically all alike, even some other brands. Today however I picked up one that is basically the same but the physical body of it is smaller. I have to admit having been ignorant of the fact that some of the same brand were smaller. It’s kinda cool because more variations to look for. Are there larger ones?

I have quite a bunch of them too. I don't think there is any difference in the OAL of the knives, just the bail length is different. The two I have in my hand right now are identical to your pictured pair. One has the short bail and one the long. The tang stamps are different because they are from different time frames. One has the USA vertical, one is horizontal, but both are Imperials.Kniferosity57 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 01, 2021 10:29 pm I have been mysteriously running into Imperial Kamp King camp/scout style vintage knives everywhere lately. Actually there are two different sizes. The usual one found is approximately 3-3/4" long and the smaller version about 3-3/8".There is also a third variant I ran across awhile back that is a three blade and has solid rather than shell bolsters.I have only seen one other one of these someone posted awhile back. Here are pics of them.

Forgot to add these two:One is the Super Kamp King and the other is my grandfather's Kamp King that first got me started on knives when I was 8 years old. That is when that knife nearly took off my finger after it snapped shut in my attempt to open it. I still have the scar and it STILL tries to cut me every time I go to open it!
