313 Mike checking in
Hello to all my old friends here on AAPK!
It's been a while since I have stopped by, so I thought I'd stop in and say howdy.
All is well with me and the family, garden is lush and green, waiting on those maters to ripen up.
Went for a good long time recently carrying my black mini grip every day, and I really can't say enough good things about that knife, darn near a perfect carry option for my needs. But....A month or two ago I switched up and have been toting my black Vic Pioneer daily, and that one suits me quite well too. That 3.5" closed length is really the sweet spot for me....maybe I will pull out an old Case or GEC next..
Anyways, just wanted to say hi, might as well drop in a pic while I am here, sorry for the bad quality, but this was a spontaneous visit, so I didn't have a properly staged pic ready to go!

It's been so long since I've seen you, I've almost forgotten what you look like. Awfully good to hear from you. Maybe you'll be able to carve out some time to drop by now and then. It would be nice to get to see pictures of your garden this summer.

Hi Colonel, Jerry, Ivory, Scott, Ken, Glenn, Phillip and Mike! Nice to see some familiar faces, so to speak. In honor of my return, I pulled out a new carry knife this morning, another 66, the ol' Ebony harness jack. Definitely a favorite, I find the awl comes in handy for all sorts of random tasks

Love the 66 and that ebony is great. Love seeing the old members drop in and say "hi" after not hearing from them for a while. Miss lots of the old hands and their piles of beauties like the ones you post. Keep rocking it.313 Mike wrote: ↑Mon Jul 12, 2021 11:48 pm Hi Bruce, Jerry, Ivory, Scott, Ken, Glenn, Phillip and Mike! Re: 313 Mike checking in
Here's a few shots I just took of another one of my all time faves, a bonestag Case 6.5375 stockman in CV, from 2005. It has traveled many miles with me, still snaps hard and has zero blade play. The bonestag has really aged, it's the same knife as in my avatar, for reference. Definitely a one of a kind now.
