Every once in awhile I post a knife for sale, and other esteemed members do likewise. This appears on the left side of my screen in what seems to be "recent posts." My impression is that this is starting to get out of hand and dominating the other kinds of posts for which AAPK was intended. Is there another way to handle this so that all parties can have a satisfactory experience? If there was a way to direct people to the commerce area that is more quickly seen, then these posts could be removed from the 'recent posts' area and still be viable and maybe everybody happy?

Cal, I understand what you are saying, but I for one will say it doesn't bother me at all. Maybe others have a problem with it but I don't. I enjoy seeing what you and others have to offer - after all, it is pictures of knives and their descriptions. Who doesn't like that!?

I agree completely with what Ken says. Also, sometimes a "For Sale" thread can evolve into an interesting discussion, perhaps about the knife or even 'off topic'.
I think the "Recent Posts" column is very helpful and works fine as it is.
And, Calvin you always list great knives, as Ken says, enjoyable for all to see.
