Case Tested?
Guys,
I was digging around in some 'stuff' today and turned this little dandy up. I can't tell if it is a frankenknife, a counterfeit or what. Did Case ever have a 3½ inch serpentine jack with smooth bone handles in the Tested era?

Re: Case Tested?
Hi Ray. Off-hand I would assume it is an well-worn 6207. Is there any evidence of a second blade, perhaps a broken-off pen blade tang remaining?

Looks like Appaloosa bone.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Re: Case Tested?
There is no indication that a blade has been removed. Isn't appaloosa bone a more recent innovation? Maybe this blade was stuck into a more recent frame???

Frame looks like a Parker. How does the blade fit up and function? Does the backspring have the same amount of corrosion?
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Re: Case Tested?
Good point, Wayne. The patina seems to match but the transition from the backspring to the blade is not the greatest.
I sure appreciate all the input and I think I'll call it a frankenknife and into the junk pile it will go.
