Went antiquing on Friday with my wife in Adamstown, PA, south of Reading going towards Lancaster. Many antique shops there. One, the German Antique trading Post, was going out of business to make room for a new Pepperidge Farms warehouse. These three were discounted enough to loosen the purse strings.

The large cigar is a stag handled KABAR, 4.25 OAL. The wood handled jack is a Miller Bros, and the small pen knife is a Kanter made in Philadelphia. Never heard of this company and so bought it. In searching through the posts here to research Kanter, it turns out Cat57 posted a very similar Kanter in 2012 or thereabouts. Could it be the same knife?

Wow Steve. You found a few nice folders. I miss the Adamstown shops and Sunday flea market. I haven’t found a good source of knives up here in Elmira NY, but I keep looking. Steve B.

Yesterday from Easton, MD. Two Kutmaster medium stockmen, Yellow one is mint. I've had the N/K advertiser twice before. A Schrade sheepsfoot advertiser tang stamped, SCHRADE over N.Y. U.S.A. over 175. Brass pins and liners. Fun day! J.O'.

Knives and and few odds and ends over the weekend...

Now theses finds made me happy I traded the Hoge fixed blade for a stereo system I no longer use and was thinking about selling in a yard sale for $10. He was happy to get the setrio and I was happy to get rid of it! And even happier to get the knife

The Glock 78 knife I got at a Flea-market to use an EDC because it is already beat up and I can use and abuse it without sheading a tear of putting the first ding on it

Picked up a couple of "What Tha Heck" knives. You know......those knives you never really thought about getting, but it's such a good deal you say "What The Heck" and pull the trigger.

First, a Schrade Statue of Liberty Commem I think was made around 1986, and believe was a SFO for JC Penny. Good looking bone handles, never used, has the silver shield, and black etched blade. I always thought the bone on the handles looked good. It has the display frame and papers, but the insert is cracked and the clear plastic cover is yellowed. But for under $35, what the heck.

Next a 1984 Schrade Scrimshaw series SC503. Blade is tight, great snap, and liner lock is tight. The scrimshaw is worn, but for an EDC it does not bother me. It was a cheapy so "What The Heck"
