Imperial really made some odd (and awesome) knives. Here's a folding cleaver guaranteed to never get lost in your pocket. The last pic shows the scale - that's a Schrade 293 sitting next to it.

I had forgotten about the old folding cleavers.
I guess there really are no new ideas under the sun!
The new generation of folding cleavers are nothing new, just a refinement have an old idea. I happen to pick up a gerber folding cleaver recently and was surprised to find that the thick wide blade was not without certain merits. I have used it in my shop a few times and actually like it.
