Looking to rehome a Central New York knife or two by way of getting my brother(s) in Syracuse a Christmas present of one. There are some wonderful specimens already listed to buy here, but they're largely beyond my means right now.
I'm especially interested in the WWII-era 'boy scout'/camp multi-tool knives with the light brown jigged handles, can and bottle openers, & bail on them. That said, I'm open to many other pre-1960s or 70s knives as well. I'd like whatever it was to be in good working order - no cracks on the scales, no celluloid rot, and reasonable snap without play. I would NOT mind one that's dirty, rusted, grimy, or could use a serious cleaning/seeing to in any way. In fact I'd be happy to restore one that's in otherwise solid shape as part of the present.
Please feel free to get in touch about any Camillus, Syracuse, or Federal made-in-Syracuse knives you'd be interested in selling, and thanks!
