Skip,
I enjoyed seeing group photos of your collection.
For some reason seeing them lined up together really highlights the collection.

This morning, the zoo welcomes its most recent arrival. It's another Imperial, 2 blades, "Longhorn Steer" handle pocket knife. It appears that the patent numbers on the secondary blade have vanished over time. I gave it a very minor cleaning, took a few pictures and here it is.

***** The closed measurement of this pocket knife and of the previously posted pocket
knives of the exact same pattern or style is just a hair over 3 1/4", NOT 3 11/16" *****

Another nice Longhorn for the herd in the Zoo. The heard has grown. How many Longhorn handles does that make now?

This afternoon, the zoo welcomes its most recent resident. It is an Imperial, 2 blade, 3 1/4" closed, "Deer Head" pocket knife. I've got this particular pattern or style of pocket knife represented by KEEN KUTTER, KINGSTON and ULSTER. Surprisingly, this is my first IMPERIAL "Deer Head" pocket knife in this pattern or style. I gave the blades the once over, took some pictures and here it is.

This afternoon, this topic or thread, my collection and the zoo, welcomes the most recent addition. It is a USA, 2 blade, just under 3 1/2" closed, "Deer Head" handle pocket knife. The blades needed a little cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Very nice Skip. Just a bit of info, Ulster also produced this pattern for Sears/Craftsman as the pattern 9521. First appeared in the 1959 Sears Spring/Summer Catalog, and the last catalog I see them listed is 1964.

Very recently, this pocket knife arrived and became the newest resident in the zoo. It is yet another, MADE IN GERMANY, single blade, 4 tool, single tang stamp, 3 1/2" closed, "Deer Head" pocket knife. The main blade is tang stamped "MADE IN - GERMANY." It is missing the bail. Other than that, it is in pretty good condition. It did need some cleaning.
I cleaned it, took some pictures and here it is.

Looks good Skip, cleaned up nicely. Sure been a while since you've posted one of this design. Even without the bail, it's still a good looking knife. Congrats. ::tu::

Today this pocket knife takes up residency at the zoo. It is an IMPERIAL, HECHO EN MEXICO (MADE IN MEXICO), two blades, one tool (a corkscrew), a single tang stamp, pocket knife. It measures 3 7/8" closed. I do believe that this pocket knife did have a bail at one time, it does not have a bail now. It does have a "Deer Head" on the handle. The main blade tang stamp reads "IMPERIAL - HECHO EN - MEXICO" This knife "brand" is part of the Imperial, Colonial and Mexico story, connection or relationship. It is in GOOD condition. It needed very little cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.
