41ot SCHRADE WALDEN

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

randy here is my 41 and sheath. the sheath looks just like the 165's only smaller. the blade pouch is approx. 3/8 shorter and the width is approx. 1/4 narrower. the pouch has the spacer leather in it and stitch pattern and loop and snap just like the 165's i have--only a smaller version. i'm glad to have one but would proboly not prefer it in the field. the thicker ,stiffer blade models feel "safer" to use to me imo.

dale --do you have anymore of those imaginary 2ot's? i'll take a doz.!!
