Is this knife legit?

Post by tvic »

Is this knife legit? I feel sure it is, but I'm just confused that it has a 2020 tang stamp.

I'm sure the knife itself is a legitimate Case. When and why the embellishments were done to the covers and bolsters and by whom I do not know. I wouldn't think it belongs in the counterfeit forum.

It looks like they might have run out of 2019 blades and installed a 2020 blade....maybe?

This is getting me wore out ...all you that think they know how to read a knife calling Conterfeit !!!!! on knives being sold ..everybody is an expert these days it seems like....buy what you like and who cares if it wasn't handled by the factory ... SMKW's has been doing that for 30+ years with knives from all different makers...to many experts out there today thinking they know more than the next guy... ::doh:: I been collecting now 60+ plus years if you doubt it put it in the drawer of shame and get over it being a fake if that's what you think ::doh::
