Not really worth 25 cents

Post by btrwtr »

One of our favorite purveyors of counterfeits. Shame there are people that take the hobby we love to this low level.

I am far from a Case expert. The bone gives this one away to me, but were these ever made with bolsters on both ends? I thought they were all bareheads.

All original were bareheads. There has been way too many of these bolster at each end fakes sold on eBay.

The bone on this OP knife looks like real Case green bone. If real likely taken off of an old Case knife.

Thanks for posting and all the info that followed. It is
good that we review these fakes so we don't get
duped.

I agree with Wayne that it's a shame some people would take our hobby to such a low level. It's also a shame so many are so easily duped. Why people continue to buy these fakes but won't spend a little time or money to learn how to identify counterfeits is a mystery. ::dang::

This knife sold for $417 plus shipping and any tax paid. I imagine eBay seller truckf150777 was happy with the price this knife brought. His happiness would be on the far opposite end of the scale when weighed against the feeling the buyer might have should he ever discover what his money has actually purchased, a counterfeit knife.
