Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t believe this ever seen the Schlieper factory.
First one I’ve seen faked. Guess Eyes are bringing good money now days so they’ve moved over to the less commonly faked German brands.

You are correct, the Eye prices have really climbed in the past few years. And no, I’ve never seen one like this either.

I cropped and rotated Pic 7 in the listing to show the tang. Inconsistent/crooked letters that look engraved are enough for me to walk away. I can’t tell for sure but am wondering if they misspelled Solingen?

“Solingen Steel” is a stamp commonly used on Pakistan or China knives. I believe this stamp is original to the knife in question. The other “Eye” stamps have been added. Your right though, it looks possibly misspelled.

The tang stamps are light and do look like they are engraved or etched, rather than stamped. The engraving on the bone handle looks nice, but does not look quite like anything that I have seen before.
The blades have a 'Pakistan' look to them, but the frame does not.
I am guessing that it is cobbled.
It is a shame that someone with this level of talent doesn't just make and sell their own custom knives, Instagramead of counterfeiting.
