Now, at 2 PM, the temp is 17; should reach 20 at 4 PM then retreat into the teens tonight. The sun has been out most of the day which improves the mood of the day. No more snowing. Got about 5 inches here.

It warmed into the mid to upper 30s today and spit rain throughout the daylight hours, snow is gone. My wife and I went for some BBQ at a Bandanas before our Kroger and WalMart runs, and when we came out of the restaurant, the rain was over and Old Glory was waving proudly.

We got a couple inches of snow yesterday. I'll post those pictures first. Power was off from point 06:00 - point 08:00 a.m. yesterday. Then we got a couple more inches last night and our power was off from point 09:00 - point 10:00 a.m. I guess that they turned it off & on.

Took a couple of pictures at 05:45 a.m. when I had to get up and let our puppy out. I'll post them too.

42 and we had a HARD rain off/on early am.. Lite rain and its supposed to rain all day.. Then back in bone chilling cold Mon/Tues.. Was 20 for the high yesterday.. Well at least ya dont have to shovel rain,,

Looks like Germany hasn’t changed much since the 70 s when last there .
Here the temps are below Zero with wind chills getting to minus 40 before day is over . Birds been cobbling up food in these cold days .
Going to sit here and stay warm maybe watch some NFL.

The Snow is nice . Wind we could do without . the brown does get a little depressing ,we just got our first snow that stayed over the holidays . The snow sure brightens it up when the Sun is shining .Almost need shaded goggles like our skiing folks wear .
Losing your mind ,hmmmm. Think you’re good for awhile yet .
Tom , Thanks and a Hello to you Sir. We’ve got the Heat at 72 degrees inside so getting by here . The pic from earlier is a view out the back ( living room ) into the Woods . We have the field planted in Native Wildflowers and grasses . Here’s a view from our bedroom which is on the same ( south ) side of house . Truly did enjoy your pics and the views from your corner of the world .
Maybe some of the warmer climate Members will send warmer and more inviting pics .
Like Q Hmmmm ,think it’s warm over there ? Might have to rethink our next trip

Cold but sunny today. Should get up to the mid 30's today. Still have some snow on the ground. I took a few pictures of the Sunrise this morning. If you look real close, you can almost see the church steeple from the Catholic church in the background. I can surely hear the bells when they ring.

First 4 pictures are taken from the window where I stand when I am smoking. Next 4 are from the front porch. Here the steeple is off to the left.
