My latest mistake or is it? Opinions please!

Post by johns7076 »

I loaded up on the big 2020 Mexico find of new old stock and now having second thoughts. A friend also acquired seven. Not sure if the instruction wrappers are worth anything.

Depends on what your expectations and plans are for the items you bought. Are you a collector or a “flipper”? The papers have value to some collectors as knife ephemera. You can look on eBay sold listings to find how much the papers are worth but I wouldn’t plan my next vacation around the proceeds. Having the boxes and papers with the knives doesn’t hurt for sure and may be added incentive to some collectors.

Looks like a pretty good haul to me. I'll take one of those "springer" stamped leverlocks off your hands :D

Hey John! Would you please post more pictures of the knife in the top picture, far left row, top knife with the oddly shaped bolsters! Thx! ::handshake:: 8)

Thanks a bunch John! ::handshake:: From your first picture the knife I requested looked different than what it actually is, perhaps because the bottom bolster was hidden, but I see now it's similar to the others but I appreciate your efforts all the same! 8)
