Marble Arms Sale Case

Webster Marble formed Gladstone Mfg. Co. in 1892. That company created the first folding Axe in 1893 which lead to the incorporation of Marble's Safety Axe Co. in 1898. The company became Marble Arms & Mfg. Co. in 1911 & enjoyed years of success until succumbing to a shut down of production in 1974. The brand was brought back to life in 1994 & enjoyed a grand rejuvenation that later gave way to another shutdown in 2009. Many great knives & tools were crafted over the company's storied history.

Marble Arms Sale Case

Post by OldYooper »

Is this the real deal. I am looking at buying the case and Knives.
The Case does not seem to be right. Person selling this says it was made
by Marble Arms to show case there knives. The one thing that caught my eye
was the lock and door are on the back of the case.

What do you think....OldYooper.

I tried to resize your picture to get a better look at the tang stamps, but it's too fuzzy. stagman would probably know for sure, pretty cool display regardless. ::nod:: ::tu::
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

If those are all Marbles knives in the case it must be a really late case and knives, like 1990s, maybe newer.

That's what I was thinking, Gene, 1990's or early 2000's. But I can't see any tang stamps. ::shrug:: I have a 1999 catalog but it doesn't have any cases in it.

All knives have the newer tang stamp on the them...OldYooper.

I am Questioning the case they are in. Seller says it was made by Marble Arms, I think different.

He thinks the case is worth $750 to $1000. I think he is crazy. At this point we're at a stalemate.

Has anyone ever seen a case made by Marble Arms ???

Thank You for your Comments. OldYooper.

No sure if this will help but it's from when Dave Shirley Owned Marbles and it looks like the one in the Catalog and I think the price if it has the boxes & Sheath isn't too bad just my opinion ::handshake::

All them knives are 2002 - 2006 knives...and I believe the case was made in
that time era too...if it was a Marble Arms case, it would read that on it...
Marble Arms is 1974 and earlier in to the 1960's
No way its worth that much money !!!
