Glad to have you join us here at AAPK.

Hi Tom.
Welcome to AAPK.
Knife collecting can be addicting as well as fun.
Browse around the site & look at the knives people collect.
They are all exciting at first but eventually you will find a pattern or brand of knives that you like better than than most.
At that point you can focus your collecting into a specific area.
I find that more rewarding than buying everything I see..............although that is fun too!
One quick point of protocol:
Please turn off your caps lock.
When you use all caps in a forum it is like yelling.
Thank you & welcome aboard!

Marcola is NE of Springfield between Springfield & Brownsville, IIRC.tbighunter wrote:Dale,i think my sister may live close to you.she lives in marcola,by springfield,or.
Probably about 75 miles from me.
I haven't been up that way in 25 years or more. I used to go up that way to go fishing in the 70's when I was in college in Eugene. Stop to think about it, it may have been 30 years of more since I was up there.
It is petty country up that way.
Let me know when you come out this way to visit.
BTW, you should come visit her in April and go to the OKCA show in Eugene. http://www.oregonknifeclub.org/okcashow.html
