Hey Jamie! I clicked on your link, and there was a disclaimer lower down the page that stated this is NOT an automatic knife because of certain regulations they can't sell autos directly from their site, is that correct or is your knife automatic?JamieinWV wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 5:34 pm I don’t have that design but I have new in sealed factory box this one

Re: Want to buy or trade for Boker Dessert Warrior Kalashnikov Dagger Automatic Knife (3.25"
Thanks for the info and pictures Jamie!
I totally understand what you did with a random picture, it was only because of where your link led that I asked the question. I'm not personally interested in purchasing your knife, and don't feel badly about not providing a video I have seen them fire and operate. I assume you read where I'm from and is why you mentioned Customs, so I'd like to pass this info on to you. I have successfully received 44 automatic knives to Canada by having the sellers remove the blade and ship it in a separate package so when it arrives at Customs it's not a knife but rather as "parts" and 100% legal to import. Of course I paid additional shipping charges, but I like these knives so much it was worth it to me. I realize some models have a fixed rivet pivot and can't have their blades removed, in which case some sellers who are mechanically inclined have converted the knife from fixed to screw pivot cuz it's very simple to knock out the rivet and replace it with a screw, and in a few cases where they weren't capable of doing a conversion they wrapped the knife handle in paracord and sealed the ends closed while the blade is deployed and then slid it into a sheath giving the appearance of a fixed blade knife. In cases where the seller wasn't willing to make adjustments they simply lost out on the sale! LOL! I like your Kershaw too, I have a Launch 8 on my radar to buy cuz I believe they build a quality knife. I hope I haven't disappointed you by not buying your knife, I was simply replying to the posts!

Just passing on info, didn't mean to help you, sorry. I waited a couple of days to try to buy after I posted to give others a chance to respond. Oops, Won't make that mistake again. All good deeds... your profile says helping others, .. guess I'm not allowed to do that, but you profess to... done. TAZ

Whoa, whoa, whoa my friend. You have completely misunderstood my post. The title of the OP is 'WTB or trade Boker Desert...blah, blah, blah" so it just seemed odd to me that the person who bought the available knife would be telling others who read the thread that there's one available, that's all. I seem to have really ruffled your feathers and please believe me when I say that certainly was not my intention. Please accept my sincere apology Taz.TazmanTom18 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 04, 2022 4:51 pm Just passing on info, didn't mean to help you, sorry.
