Re: Looking to buy at auction.
Do an advanced search of eBay sold listings for "Case knife commemorative saddlehorn". Case has made literally thousands of similar commemorative knives. The values are typically about the same for each pattern, unless you have a knife that appeals to someone from the particular group being commemorated ((FFA or. BSA for example). Look for others having a display box which will add a little to the value. Having the COA is nice but worth very little. IMO.

Thanks, Ken. I tried that. Could not find this particular commemorative set. This estate has other commemorative knives, Case Orca, Buck Blacksmith, Schrade MacAuthor and D'Holder. Found all those... appreciate the help.

Like I said, they're all worth about the same. The "Star Spangled Banner" theme is fairly generic so I doubt it has a unique appeal to drive a higher price. JMO

c7ants two of those same knives with all the bling sold on Ebay, one in January ($134.75) and one in February ($137.50) so you're looking at an average of about $135 according to that. Of course that's ballpark, it all depends on how badly someone wants it.
