*Waves* Andy - Sheffield

Hey all,

i have been browsing this forum for quite a while but this is my first post.

Well my name is Andy, i am just 24 years old and i have been collecting knives since i was 19/20 (i have just realised that this is only 4 years! It feels like i have been collecting forever! :shock: )

Anyway, i live just outside Sheffield in England but i consider it to be my home. I think Sheffield has been and continues to be a very interesting city.

Some of you may be wondering what my username means, well Rodgerslad refers to my deep interest in Joseph Rodgers & Sons of Sheffield and this is what my collection focuses on. My uncle and aunt used to work for the company from around 1935 to 1960. It is a company that completely fascinates me and i want to take this opportunity to offer my knowledge of this company to anyone here. I will always be pleased to give any information i know.

Welcome to AAPK.
Sounds like you have found your niche' in the world of knife collecting.
I've been trying to find mine for about 40 years now. :)

Hi Andy.

I'm pretty new here myself. Good bunch of folks here.

I bought a Rodger's "Regimental" the other day for my father in law. Any idea when those were made?

Willie, that knife is quite modern, i think it could still be in production now but its been made for a while so it could still be ten years old or so. Good quality knife.
