This just in . . .

I won this one last week, and it just arrived: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0347484353

Did anyone here do the work? I suspect it is a re-worked TL-29. Filework on blade, backspring, and liner seem "OK." Function is mostly-good (with that backspring, it needs an easy-open conversion).

Overall, it seems like it will make a decent work knife--as soon as I get that misplaced lanyard bail off, and cut the easy-open notch.

Edited to add: And sharpen it. Definitely.
Quality should not be an accident. So what is the explanation for some of the knives we've seen in the past few years? (from A Knifebuyer's Manifesto)
