Some years ago we won a tour of the Lambshead Ranch. That is some great history. Back then you could drive all over the ranch. Walt famously said on one occasion that white face and crude sure made a good breed.

Thanks Floyd, I’d love to get a tour. If I read correctly, it’s a 15 mile drive from the gate to the ranch house. Historic old buildings (still in use) on the ranch dating back to 1855.

Yes Sir, 15 miles back to the old original building. The current ranch house is closer to the road. But there are several houses scattered around. And the old graveyard where old family members are all buried. Lambshead by Sallie Reynolds is a great history.
