. . . Haha, it's been a minute but I can still get down and dirty with something you can find in a Wisconsin gas station beer cave. I was once known for toting 30 racks of Red Dog warning everyone that our night was about to be "uncommonly smooth"
Do you have Keystone beer in your neck of the woods? I loved their, "Keith Stone, always smooth" commercials.

Keith Stone may as well have been the spokesman for the house parties I frequented in high school and college
Keystone is also what filled the first keg I ever bought.

Nice pic, John! Did you buy that Natty Ice to complement the colors of the knife? If so, you succeeded.
Schlitz Malt Liquor used to have those colors, as well. Good thing it is no longer made, or you would be ridin' the bull over that balcony!

Going for the most generic beer and knife combo photo ever. I even broke out the plain manilla background.
That's a Colonial brand knife I'm told, but as plain as I got, doesn't even have a factory edge.
So here you go, from 1995 (the beer that is)
Just saw this too so another pic "General Brewing Company" - even better.
With a lifetime of dust on the lid for authenticity.

My wife made me retire this shirt after after having, wearing, and loving it for almost 20 years. It's now a cherished shop rag. So here it is in its new home with a new blue pick bone trapper.

I looked that joint up, looks like an awesome area, some great looking pizza, a beautiful wife, you are definitely living the high life! As far as the beer thirty portion of the post, I am a fan of Nastro Azzurro but I gotta go with your wife's choice. I too like a nice caramely (that may not be a word) dark beer with pizza.

I detest IPAs, especially Cascade hops. Reminds me of the cat's litter box.

Glad I'm not alone in the sentiment. Every IPA I've ever tried tasted like chemicals to me.

I would never argue with a Sconnie about beer etiquette, and I also like hoppy with sweets.

There was a trend for a while to just see who could make their beer the hoppiest most bitter ipa on the market. I was not a fan of that, I need balance in my IPA with citrus and floral notes overriding the bitterness.
I am, however, a fan of any lady who has a discerning taste in beers and who would have a frosty pint with pizza instead of whatever hard seltzer is in fashion

Battle Creek may have Kellogg's, but Grand Rapids is the home of Founders Breakfast Stout.
