Here are a few of the stag fixed blades I’ve made over the years. One on the far left is elk.

Appreciate it quick steel. I worked in a body shop and always kept a knife going for times when I didn’t have a car to work on.

Thank you for your reactions Olddad, Gary, Reverend, and Dan. My Bulldog knives give me a lot of pleasure. A knife like this is hardly practical, but I think it's a fine demonstration of the craftsman's skill.

You are very welcome, Garry. It is always a pleasure seeing representatives of such a nice and diverse collection! By the way, I always have a hard time gauging the size of a sunfish without a reference...how long is that one?

Personally, I'm not a fan of the Sunfish/Elephant Toe pattern, but if I could find one with gnarly stag on it like yours, Garry, I would be proud to add it to my collection. Truly outstanding, top grade stag. ::tu::

In this case it is the epic nature of the entire knife that brings the stag to this post. A Master Craftsman was turned loose on this 5 bladed tribute to the Bulldog logos used over time. The stag scales are evenly balanced, the runups are tight, fine walk and talk, and perfect blade alignment. I don't know if it is still possible for the Olbertz factory, or any other, to produce this level of quality today.

Thing of beauty QuickS, that's incredible how they got the five springs to line up so well. And great antlers. ::tu:: ::tu::
