All About Pocket Knives

I use the Electro Chem-Etch machine and I really like it.
I don't have to anneal the blades so I can stamp them or risk damage to the blade and/or stamp by cold stamping hardened steel.
Do you have a way of stamping the hardened blades without annealing them?

I have a 40 ton press that should do the job

I'm real low-tech on marking my mods. I just use some number/letter stamps to put my mark on the inside of the liner. Not sexy like Dale's cool stamp, but it does let everyone know what's what.

I started marking the liners, and usually still do, especially on knives that are a "restoration" project where the owners don't want the blade marked.
This is a steel Barlow liner I worked on in 2011.
I use my initials & the year; DRV - 11

It sounds like you did your homework before you started and the finished product shows it. Really nice save!
