Who is the walking legend, Zach, I don't recognize him?
Oh you already nailed it buddy. Justin Timberlake. Just look at that denim.
Oh and here's my knife I've got next to me. TripleF gifted me the lanyard. Solid bolsters and a pen secondary instead of a punch, which I like.
Ah ha! Thanks, Zach, I thought so but when no one was calling him by name I wasn't sure.
That is a beautiful knife you posted, even though it's not my style I still appreciate a thing of beauty when I see it. The jigging is excellent on those warm looking bone covers, and the overall knife appears nearly new, very nice. I'm not a lanyard fan either, but once again, Scott did a great job on that one.
I also like how you described the reason you have your knife with you today since that is the point of this topic, just having a favorite knife close by makes you feel good!

Justin Timberlake.
Just look at that denim.

...I believe the proper term is
"Canadian Tuxedo"
That is sweet imperial camp knife, I have the same model, and I like having an extra blade instead of the punch, as you have on those versions. When the scales start to shrink, I mix some black paint with an epoxy and gently try to fill in the gaps, with mixed results

Sometimes the fill is perfect

... and sometimes looks a little slopy

I think I finally get it,

Dog, denim is a CDN tux, yes? No wonder I didn't understand what you meant, I've never heard that before.

Comfy up to this little beauty, guys!

My 8 1/4" S & M single blade lock-back!
Warm brown jigged bone covers, NS hardware, brass liners, NS shield.
Nice 4 oz. weight and came sharp.
Walks open silky smooth with a snappy talk.
This baby feels reaaaaly good in your hand.
Would someone please tell me what this model is called, hunter, trapper, etc.?

Thx!
Are we comfy yet?

My non expert opinion is that it's a swell end jack. A big one. And a swell one. Very comfy dude. Checkerboard jigging is classy.
Edit: missed that it's a lock back. Now I really don't know.

I have heard the term stabber jack but don't know if that is one. Love both the blade and the bones.

I appreciate your input, Zach, and I failed to mention that it doesn't have any empty hole in the tang where the pin for a swinguard was before the previous owner removed it. I say this because I have another S & M that I removed the s/g from, and I say THIS because that may have been a clue as to what model it is.

Much thanks, Tony,

I'm actually quite surprised that no one knows what model it it, I figured it would be a common pattern that you guys would be shouting out.
I just started playing the "Mystery Knife" thread, I wonder if I can enter it even though I don't even know what it is, since I'd never know when to tell the guesser their answer is right! lol!

Thanks for your input, B-H, this one from QCC has a s/g but no bottom bolster. I actually have the exact knife you described, but I removed the s/g, although, I can't post it cuz I can't find it!

I also have this Robeson that seems identical in every way except color, no lock-back, and a different shield.

Marco I did not know you were into traditionals but you have thrown down some beauties lately! I used to only buy modern knives but I think Ivoryman has won me over with his GEC beauties.
