Good Morning Everyone!
Working on some knife organization today. I have run out of display and storage room so I have bought
some soft sided knife storage cases to put many of the ones I don't have on display. I'll post some pictures
later when I'm finished. Dave I'm still praying for Jane. Have a blessed day and be safe.... :D

Morning folks, 68 was the low heading to the upper 70's. We had summer shower this morning with more predicted about noontime.
Wampus wuz on the tractor seat patiently waiting for his breakfast, ate with gusto.
The boss got us home safe and sound yestiddy afternoon, drove through light rain for a good portion of the time and some heavy stuff as we neared home.
Dave sure hope and pray Jane can get treatment started soon.
I've got several things that need doing outside but the weather has me on hold for most it.
Hope yawl have a good'un and be careful out there. ::handshake::

I had a very restless night thinking about the beautiful family that Ivoryman (Brian) left behind and their journey ahead. Words of empathy seem lost but inside I feel all the care and love I had for Brian. Rest easy Ivoryman, we’ve got it from here.

Good morning. Finally today I hope to find out what they can do for Jane's cancer. I have so little confidence in the medical system after the mess of the past few years and my two failed surgeries so hopefully God has put in place some staff that will put us at ease and do things soon enough so this thing doesn't grow much more before they can schedule what needs to be done. Melody took the day off from work to go with us and she has been to the same part of the hospital for skin cancer treatment. That hospital is in a few large buildings mostly all connected with long hallways that Jane can't manage with her two artificial hips and bad knees so parking in the nearest lot is important and finding the correct clinic in the hospital can be daunting. I'll be glad when this day is over and hopefully things are a little less unsettled. Have a good Wednesday.____Dave

My fishing partner and I are hoping to get on the Chippewa River this trip. Vic gas a rig( boat ) set up for river fishing and we hope the water goes down some. Good Mornin'.
Scanning the forum, Q's post about his special friend got my attention. :( Unexpected tragedy is always hard. We never know when our days will end.
We have a late afternoon Cardiologist appointment this afternoon. Never had a late afternoon appointment with them before, always in the mid-morning. Just anticipating late afternoon traffic will probably raise my blood pressure!
Dave, praying y'all get some encouraging information today. Tell Miss Jane she is in our prayers.
Need to finish mowing this morning, the south yard is all that is left to do. It is the most enjoyable part to mow. Some of y'all probably understand if you have large areas to mow.
It was 71° earlier this morning, beautiful blue skies so far. Depending on the shower activity, the high should be around 90 today.
Coffee was good, time for breakfast and our bible reading.
Y'all have a good Wednesday.

Morning folks, 72 to the mid 80's strong storms predicted for tonight.
Wampus wuz on the tractor seat seemed to be his natural ornery self.
Devastating news about I-man, RIP good buddy.
Hoping and praying for Miss Jane to get some quick help and a full recovery.
Need to get some yard work done and a new toilet seat put on the bosses throne, better get breakfast out of the way first.
Hope yawl have a good'un and be careful out there. ::handshake::

Greetings, FCD

Finally made it back to the diner. Thought I'd never get here.
74* here in the Missouri Ozarks and we're looking at a high of 79*. Tstorms and lots of rain last night. Nothing severe, but dumped more rain that we dont need. Wife and I are trying to sell my mother's car since she gave up driving and the darn thing wound up dead in the garage. I had forgotten to keep starting it while we were dealing with our cat, Banjo. Borrowed a Luckgulu battery charger from the neighbor and let it charge yesterday. Car started right up and all is good again. Well, not much on the agenda today. Maybe some computer baseball and getting some sitting time outside.
Y'alll have a great day. Remember to be safe, be careful and be alert!

Dave, prayers and good luck today. I'm with you on the medical profession these days. We've had our share of questionable things happen. ::dang::

Good Morning Everyone!
Dave I've got you and Jane on our church prayer list so you've got a lot of prayer warriors lifting you up to God.
I only exchanged posts with Brian (Ivoryman) a few times but I read so much of what he posted with others. Any
time you have a loss within a family or group as close as AAPK it's a loss that leaves everyone saddened. May God
bless and comfort those friends and family that Brian has left behind. May our Lord this day grant you all peace and
hope for the future. Have a blessed day and be safe.... ::pray::

Good morning. I'll work a few hours and then drive Jane up to have her PET scan. Yesterday evening Jason and I hauled another big load home from the garage and cabin we are emptying, some to the dump, some for a rummage sale and some we'll keep. The last thing we needed was more stuff, but a couple of the bikes are a matching pair of his and hers 1950's Raleigh brand and a couple pieces of antique furniture are just too nice to get rid of. I need to get back to finishing up the deck work, order windows and get to the other things that on the other job. People are starting to call wondering when we might get to their jobs. I sure wish I had the energy I did a few years ago. Have a good Thursday.____Dave

Morning Dave . Morning to the rest of you knifers as well .
Have a nice quiet morning going on here . Maybe get caught up on a few things around here. Then heading out on the Chippewa River this afternoon/ evening .
It sure seems like the forum is a place to sell knives rather than discuss and share lately. All I see when logging in is stuff for sale ,everywhere. Personally that’s not what I joined this forum for . Just my personal opinion.
You all have a great day ,or at least try. Take care

Good Mornin', Folks.
Dave, there needs to be two or three of you to keep up! ::poke:: We know taking care of Miss Jane is your number one job. Again, such an encouraging report from yesterday! ::tu::
72° this morning, 90 yesterday, no rain yesterday for a change. Made our trip to the Cardiologist in Panama City yesterday afternoon. He said everything seemed okay but he still wants me to have an echocardiogram next month.
Workday today, a venison sirloin tip has been in the slow cooker since last night, 'taters, carrots and onions will be added after breakfast. A jug of sweet tea and some corn bread will be ready by noon. ::tu::
There were 3 deer finishing off the rest of Miss Joy's green beans this morning. The sand pears are maturing and are also being targeted. Broken branches in the blue berry bushes is a new thing for us to experience.
Y'all enjoy the day!

Good Morning Everyone!
Still working on reorganizing my knives. My antique jewelers cabinet was full and I'm out of
display space, in other words Cheryl isn't giving me any more wall or display cabinet space.
Also we're getting ready for Vacation Bible School this next week and that's always a big
event at our church. Have a blessed day and please be safe.... :D

Morning folks, 67 the low heading to the lower 80's. Awoke to some heavy thunder aroud 4 a.m. left us with a little over 2 inches in the old gage. May get some more around 1 o'clock. I'd rather the sun would pop out and dry things up enough that I could crawl on the ZT and get the grass in good shape.
Wampusis awol again, he's been staying close to the house for a couple of days.
Got a lot of work done around the old homestead yestiddy could have cut the grass but got wore out before I got to it.
Meeting my niece, great great niece, and great, great, great niece for a noon meal at a favorite barbecue joint.
Hope yawl have a good'un and be careful out there ::handshake::

Morning, FCD

It's 71* and sunny here in the Missouri Ozarks and we're looking at a high of 85* and stuffy. Had a small tstorm roll thru late last night dumping even MORE rain, but it didnt last too long. Had a good scare yesterday as my mother was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Her right hand went numb and she was feeling strange. Turns out they think she had a mini stroke and her blood pressure was 220/120. They did some tests last night and have already run some more this morning to make sure they are not missing anything. Her BP has come down a good bit and, considering the test results, might release her late today.
Not much on the agenda. Maybe get to some cat litters.
Y'all have a great day! Remember to be safe, be careful and be alert.

I was shocked to read about the passing of I-Man. My condolences to `Q`, it's almost like family when you loose someone close like that.

I'm working on getting my med's squared away. My nurse granddaughter took me to my doctor's appointment yesterday. Good thing she did. She can hear better than I can and understands what the Doctor is talking about (she translates later  )

My new knife came on Tuesday. It's a Case Trapper with "Veteran" on the handle and U.S.Marine Corps on the main blade. I just love it.
