Oh, my! What a nice Barlow! That sweet piece of stag is artfully beveled to the bolster. What hand work! But forgive me, my old eyes can't make out the tang stamp. What does it read?

Nice!!! I have picked up a few over the years and found Hogue to be an excellent valueRailsplitter wrote: ↑Sun Dec 01, 2024 7:35 pm Hogue Microswitch today.

It started out with a California-legal blade but I did a blade swap.

Now they all have different blades.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Thanks Dog.
It was fun taking them apart but what really impressed me was putting them back together. All three knives went back together with perfect action, zero blade play, and centered blades. I thought for sure I would have an off centered blade or two but they are all perfect even after the blade swap. I didn’t make any adjustments either. Just reassembled them with different blades.
That made me an even bigger Hogue fan than I already was.

Did I see you say Quail hunting? Bagged a bunch of birds I bet. Pointer like yours would run me into the ground. Fortunately for me, my little Fiest Dog was a close worker as she got older. Saved my legs quite a bit. Surprisingly, she treed just as many Squirrels within 50 yards as she did when she was younger, and ranged out much farther.GSPTOPDOG wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 1:24 amYou said it!Good Old Luke wrote: ↑Sun Dec 01, 2024 4:47 pmLooking like my beloved Mols, after a long morning of treeing bushy tails for me. Thanks to all posters. Classy carries, all.
Bringing out this old boy today…
Beat to hell, but still works great. And makes me wonder about the person(s) who bought it, and originally carried it every day…
