Very nice looking knife Mark. Looks wicked and sleek. It looked familiar to me for some reason and then Smitty said stiletto. It reminded me of 2 old knives that I bought from a guy in the Merchant Marines back in the early 80"s. He would buy a bunch of cheap switchblades and sell them here at home. I've had these stashed back in an old ammo can with some other stuff for years and had completely forgotten about them. The brown wooden handled one is about 10.5 inches long and the green plastic ? knife is 8 inches overall. Amazingly they both still fire off pretty fast.

You're talkin' my language now Nick! I am a fiend for auto knives, and Italians are my absolute favorite! For some reason the Edgeco "kit" knives from the 80's come to mind when I see yours, but, yours don't appear to have the removable sex pin that holds the springs in place, so perhaps they're a different build. The longer knife has Rosewood covers, and the shorter has green pearlex(imitation MOP)covers. I am far from being an expert, but, due to the fact that your knives operate well and are in great shape, they could be valuable to the right collector, so whatever you do, DON'T sell them cheap or just give them away before you do your research. As a-matter-of-fact, if it weren't for the strong possibility of them being seized by Customs, I'd be asking if you want to part with them. I've included a pic of my Edgeco that's the same as your longer knife, albeit only 8 3/4" oal. Note the large sex pin located right below the safety slot, as this is a good way to help identify an Edgeco "kit" knife. I see a stamp on the rear-tang of the green knife, can you tell me what it says or looks like, or describe any other markings on both knives, as this might help me identify them? Hey Mark, well i have pretty much always assumed these were just cheap italian knives cause that guy always had a bunch to sell cheap. The wooden handle knife just has a capital "B" with rostfrei lightly engraved on the tang. The green handle one has an engraving of a man's head looking to the left and I think rostfrei below that.Other than that I don't see any identifying marks. I'll look around and try to ID them. I should have known you would already have one of these with all those cool knives on your walls.

Awesome looking Al Mar. The only experience I've had around AL Mar knives, back in 2010 when I was in Iraq a buddy of mine had a 2000 Al Mar Sere. It was a slick operating knife. I was carrying a SOG Trident Tanto. The Sere was a tad lighter, and was a little smoother feeling in operation when opening. The SOG is a good knife, I still carry it today, but the Al Mar frame has a full liner insert, so maybe a tad better built.

That's another gorgeous knife Kerry! I've seen some Browning folders that I really liked, although, another member was telling me that the Browning's he's received were not up to par. I actually only own 1 Browning, but that knife is solid as the day is long, perfect fit n' finish, and very well built. Clean lines on that one Marc. The whole package when opened has a svelt look to it with the gray handles. I do like how they kept the flip tabs non-obtrusive. Nice addition!!

Three more great looking knives Mark. I especially like that Al Mar. Now you have to save up and get some more cool knives to show us. I've got this one coming in the mail. Not a high end knife but the blade configuration and locking mechanism interests me.

Thanks Nick! The Al Mar is a new favorite of mine, even though I've only had it for a couple of days. I have a few more models coming over the next little while, and I'll be sure to show them as they arrive. I'm fascinated with the knife you're waiting for. Although I've never cared for knives with more than 1 blade, I really like the looks of the sheepsfoot/wharncliff (?) on your knife. I believe the locking system on that knife is called "humpback", at least that's how it's referred to on stilettos.
