John, thanks for the comment!
I enjoy the trail cameras as much as I do the actual hunting time, it can go on year round. The only problem with the pictures is that don't eat very well.

Should have went bird hunting in stead of fishing
I just noticed your picture, gard.

The only pheasant I have seen in person was once when I drove to Dillsburg, PA to go skiing, probably sometime in late February or early March. It was close to the ski area but along the road and really surprised me. I didn't seem to surprise it at all, wish I would have snapped a picture.

Pheasants galore back when we lived a bit south of Champaign, IL. It's as flat as a pancake down in that part of the country and there were pheasants everywhere. (probably still are)

Today’s hike on the AT. It’s hard to see in the pics but it’s hard up and down and rocky. We did 5 miles and we are worn out!!

Thank You tf.

I would rather climb than decend. Going down hill is hard on my knees.

I'm tired just looking. But looks like a great hike. Will make the others more pleasant.

Ole Blackie came by looking for a snack, but the pickings were pretty slim.

Cool pictures, John, Scott, gard and big homer!
I was out doing some fence mending at the farm this morning, had good ol' Rocky along for the ride and to help with the job. Nice part is I got a decent sized pine log out of the situation, going to mill some 16' 2X4s over Thanksgiving break and some inch boards. This was one of about 10 pines on our whole 188 acres, but the oaks seem to flourish here. That pine was right on the fence row, prompting me to plant a metal post and tighten some barbed wire.
