Hello All

Post by semloh »

New member here. My name is Ray, I'm in NYC (feels like an anon meeting, suddenly :shock: ), and I'm fairly new to knife collecting. I stumbled across AAPK while researching Civil War era pocket knives. Generally, I'm particular to anything manufactured pre-1930's and thus, so far, have been pretty taken with Challenge Cutlery and earlier Robeson. Amazing, really--- I don't think I'd ever handled a quality pocket knife until a couple of months ago and that first time was something to remember.

Anyhow, glad to be here.

::welcome:: Ray,

Glad to have you join us here at AAPK. We have lots of old knife collectors and several guys who collect old knives. :lol:
If it feels like a "meeting" to you, it might be due to the fact that knife collecting is a form of addiction. (A good addiction) ::tu::
Hope you like it here.

Thanks all for the welcome. Soon enough I'll start taking photos of knives and mixing it up over there in knife lore and elsewhere...

Welcome to the group. I am fairly new here myself but the "crowd" here has been very nice to deal with.
