Bright Pink Knife Scales

Post by arksknives »

Can anybody lead me to a source for bright pink knife scales? My daughter wants them on a knife. I haven't been able to locate any that are dyed a bright pink.

Thanks,

The only thing that comes to my mind is Pink Ivory wood. I have seen some that is very pink. Try Gilmer Wood http://www.gilmerwood.com/

I have seen some pink ivory wood that is pretty pink also, but you never know what you are going to get when you place an order. Agate is another option, I've seen some that is very bright pink, but you need some good lapidary equipment for that. Another option I like is Rhodonite with Coral that is a composite, crushed and held together with a polymer. It is available at Jantz or Northcoast knives at a reasonable price. As little as $7.50 per 4 inch slice. You don't need any special equipment from what I hear.
