Hello form Tylertown,Mississippi
Just wanted to say hello from Tylertown,Mississippi. My name is Keith Willis.I am married with 2 children.I enjoy making knives,i have made fixed blade knives for about 3 years, however back in March 08 i had my 4th back surgery, and have not worked, and made only about 3 or 4 knives since.I am now able to stay up on my feet a little more.Besides not being able to work, and make a payday, things are looking a little better. The length of time that i have been down,I have gotten interested in folding knives.I've still got a lot to learn,so right now I've just got the ''want to''.I have been a member of Blade forums for about 2 years, and have learned a lot.I found this place yesterday, and looks like between the two places i could learn a lot more,if i am smart enough to take it all in.Well I have rattled on long enough,I'll just say Thanks, and if i don't get to asking too many questions,I hope you'll let me stay a while
God bless,Keith

Hello from IL.
The more you check in AAPK (the best site on the web). The more you will learn.
Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever, even knives. Never let the brain idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.' And the devil's name is Alzheimer's....

Thanks guys,I've been away from the computer, and haven't been able to reply. Sorry to hear about you back,USEEM.
I do look forward to showing some of my fixed blades knives.I still consider myself a newbie, and I've got a lot to learn and a long way to go.I have not had anything to work on for about 3 months now, with money being in short supply here at my house.I have a friend that works at a machine shop, where i use to work, and he is going to cut me some more blanks out on a cnc plasma cutter that they have at the shop, best part is,It is FREE,SO unless something happens i should have plenty to work on after next week. With the little time that i can stay up each day i should to have enough to last a long while.
Again,Thanks for the welcome,and God bless,Keith

Hello Keith. Welcome to the site. I live right across the border form you in Louisiana, Washington Parish.
You sell some of your knives? Maybe I can come up and support your business.

Hey LC. Every now & then I can smell the mill, if there is a strong east wind. I used to live in Bogalusa for a bit when I was younger.
